Bathroom on a Budget in Christchurch

With a tight budget, our Christchurch client, Dianne, wanted a bathroom spruce up that wouldn't cost the earth. 

To help her save on costs our consultant recommended keeping all fixtures and fittings in the same place and simply replacing them, rather than moving plumbing and electrical items which can quickly see costs creep up. We saved more money by giving the existing bath a facelift and reusing it and keeping the existing towel rail which was still in good condition and in keeping with the rest of the house. 

Everything else, however, was brand new, including the wall linings and vinyl flooring. We also helped Diane choose a new shower slide, rather than a shower rose which they had had in their old bathroom, to help make showering and cleaning easier. 

Their old separate toilet was also replaced and we realigned the roo, repainted it and put down vinyl to match the bathroom. 

Dianne is extremely happy with her new bathroom and enjoying her new modern space.
